Fayemi never wanted to leave as governor of
Ekiti State despite that Ekiti people voted him
out on June 21. Here are what Fayemi used
borrowed N3.3bn to put in place as his residence
in Ekiti. Contract for the maintenance of the
Monarchical mansion was awarded at N150m
per annum! With electronic bed costing N30m,
electronic jacuzzi and more than 10 Waiting
Rooms, Fayemi used N3.3bn borrowed fund just
for his comfort and that of his wife! That's a
state where many people cannot afford to feed
for just oncein a day! Shouldn't Fayemi have
spent this N3.3bn on job creating projects? Little
wonder Fayemi never wanted to leave the
government house even after Ekiti people
unanimously rejected him.
